Engineering the Critical Technologies that Power Space Missions
Astrion delivers advanced engineering solutions across all space system life cycles— from concept to launch and beyond. We provide the U.S. government and commercial partners with innovative solutions that increase mission assurance, reduce risk, and support customers’ priorities in orbit.

Engineering Space Systems That Deliver
Astrion supports programs through architecture development, system design, modeling and simulation, embedded software, hardware integration, and mission integration. Our teams bring together expertise in digital engineering, AI, and mission-focused design to develop scalable and secure space systems for evolving defense and aerospace needs.
Mission Assurance Through Cyber-Resilient Space Operations
Astrion delivers comprehensive Safety and Mission Assurance (SMA) support across the full development and operational life cycle of NASA space missions, including spacecraft, instruments, and related ground systems. We partner with NASA programs to identify and mitigate technical, programmatic, and operational risks—from concept and design through launch and ongoing mission operations.
Our services include hazard analyses, risk assessments, anomaly investigations, independent reviews, mission assurance planning, and the continuous evaluation of system health and safety performance. We integrate seamlessly with engineering and operations teams to ensure that mission objectives are met safely, reliably, and cost-effectively.

Cybersecurity
Astrion’s cybersecurity teams supporting United States Space Force (USSF) leverage proven best practices and methods coupled with industry-leading tools to ensure the nation’s most critical space systems and ground infrastructure are effectively hardened and data is secure from breach by our adversaries.
Our trained and certified cybersecurity practitioners are leading the way in securing some of the nation’s most critical defense and space systems, embedding cyber resilience into every aspect of space mission architecture. Our cyber subject matter experts perform all phases of system security engineering, from developing cyber strategies and policy to hardening, testing, and performing vulnerability assessments for USSF Space Systems Command Space Systems Integration Office, Space Sensing and Space Domain Awareness & Combat Power, Military Satellite Communications and Global Positioning Systems PEO’s according to NIST SP 800-53, NIST SP 800-30, FedRAMP, NSA, and all other applicable regulations.
We use the latest automated and manual tools mandated by the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), including all relevant Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG), Security Requirements Guides (SRG), automated Benchmark files, the Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP) Compliance Checker (SCC), and the Assured Content Assessment Solution (ACAS).
We create and maintain program protection plans, cybersecurity strategies, software assurance plans, Supply Chain Risk Management Plans, Clinger-Cohen Confirmation documentation, and all artifacts required to obtain an Authorization to Operate under Risk Management Framework (RMF) prior to operational delivery to the warfighter.
Mission Operations Support
We provide end-to-end mission support, from launch readiness and telemetry tracking to operations and anomaly resolution.

Multi-Domain Integration
Our systems operate seamlessly across domains—enabling interconnectivity from Earth to orbit and beyond.
