Steve Hamric

Steve Hamric serves as Chief Financial Officer at Astrion, providing strategic financial leadership across all aspects of planning, reporting, and growth execution.

With over two decades of experience, Steve has built a career driving financial performance in Aerospace & Defense, Manufacturing, IT, and Enterprise Software—across start-ups, private equity and venture-backed companies, and high-growth organizations. He brings a solid track record of value creation, with deep expertise in mergers & acquisitions, government contracting, and complex capital structures.

Most recently, Steve served as Chief Financial Officer at Cognosante, where he advised the Founder and CEO and led the company through its successful acquisition by Accenture Federal Services in May 2024. Prior to that, he was CFO at 1901 Group (a Leidos Company). Earlier in his career, he held senior roles at TeraThink (now CGI Federal Technology), MA Federal (iGov), and Athena Technologies (now Rockwell Collins).

He holds an MBA in Finance from Virginia Tech’s Pamplin College of Business and a BS in Finance and Accounting from Radford University.
