A recognized government industry leader, Dave brings more than 30 years of experience in the government technology market and a lifelong commitment to empowering customers through innovation. Before joining Astrion, Dave was CEO of CentralSquare Technologies, an industry-leading public sector technology company backed by Bain Capital and Vista Capital Partners. Prior to CentralSquare, Dave was CEO of government services provider LMI, where he led the firm’s transformation to a solutions provider enabling the federal government’s digital transformation journey. Dave has also led the national public sector business for DXC Technology, served as vice president of systems integration at IBM, and spent more than 20 years as an executive at Northrop Grumman.
Dave earned an MBA from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School and his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in electrical engineering from Johns Hopkins University.
Greg leads Air Force division programs at Astrion and has over 30 years of extensive DoD experience, including 21 years leading Air Force weapons programs. He retired from active duty in the U.S. Air Force in 2007 and, during his military career, held positions in engineering, test and evaluation, and program management. Upon retiring from the Air Force, he provided senior-level consulting services to the DoD and industry.
Greg holds master’s degrees in aviation management from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University and in military arts and sciences from Air University, and he received his BSE in electrical engineering from Duke University.
A WashingtonExec “Top 25 DoD Exec to Watch in 2021,” Fog joined Astrion from Client Solution Architects (CSA). As Chief Growth Officer, he led the company’s growth strategy and improved its qualified pipeline from under $250 million to over $4.1 billion in less than 15 months. Before CSA, Fog served as Executive Vice President and Strategic Growth Officer for Amentum, a $7 billion spin-off from AECOM. Before joining the private sector, Fog served as the government civilian Director of the Joint Electronic Warfare Center following a 20-year career in the U.S. Marine Corps.
Fog holds a master’s degree in international and strategic studies from the Marine Corps University, a master’s degree in international affairs studies from American University, and a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Delaware.
Sharon works across our customer-facing divisions to build differentiated capabilities and technologies that support our customers’ current needs and future mission requirements. Sharon joins us from NobleReach Foundation, where she served as Chief Research Officer, leading the foundation’s science- and research-related activities. Previously, she held leadership roles at LMI, including Chief Technology Officer, where she led cross-market capabilities development and innovation. Sharon also served as a committee staffer in the legislative branch and in a Senate-confirmed position at the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy, where she served as a senior advisor and led cross-agency efforts related to science and technology.
Sharon holds a bachelor’s in molecular biology from the University of California, Berkeley, and a doctorate in biochemistry from Stanford University, where she did her PhD research in the laboratory of Noble Laureate Paul Berg.
Jake’s financial acumen and leadership skills have been recognized throughout his career, including recently when WashingtonExec named him one of its top CFOs in 2021. Before joining Astrion, Jake was CFO of Amentum, a $9 billion global engineering and project management company, where he oversaw all aspects of finance and played a vital role in multiple successful acquisitions and transactions, including Amentum’s spin-off from AECOM. Jake has held senior finance positions at a number of companies, including Northrop Grumman and Black and Decker, after beginning his wide-ranging career in Ernst & Young’s Assurance practice.
Jake earned an MBA from the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business and a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Villanova University. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst, which is a title awarded by the CFA Institute, as well as a certified public accountant.
Dalia brings over a decade of experience as a strategy, operations, and growth leader. As Senior Vice President of Transformation, she leads Astrion’s business transformation strategy to enable agility and accelerated growth. Previously, Dalia was Director of Customer Success Strategy at Appian Corporation, leading value-driving workstreams for Appian’s most strategic customers. Before Appian, Dalia held positions of increasing responsibility at LMI, including Director of Growth Operations, where she led the implementation of a new business development process credited with driving double-digit growth for the company.
Dalia holds a master’s in health systems management from George Mason University and a bachelor’s degree in public health from The George Washington University.
Lauren is a customer-focused innovator with over 20 years of engineering and program management experience. Prior to joining the team at Astrion, she was vice president and general manager of the Civilian Business Unit at Empower AI, where she was responsible for leading the IT service management, software delivery, and advanced data analytics businesses as well as driving overall company growth and innovation.
Before her role at Empower AI, Lauren led a portfolio of commercial cyber contracts at Capgemini, delivering sophisticated cyber products, managed services, and consulting services to Fortune 500 companies. And prior to Capgemini, Lauren held technical and program leadership positions at Leidos and Lockheed Martin.
Lauren earned a master’s degree in systems engineering from the University of Pennsylvania and also holds a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering from Villanova University.
Matt leads the Army division programs at Astrion. Most recently, he serves as program manager on the Redstone Wide Engineering and Support Services (RWESS) contract. Matt has been instrumental in developing employees, shaping program strategy, and ensuring mission success for our Army customers. Before Astrion, Matt held software engineering roles supporting commercial, NASA, and Department of Defense customers.
Matt holds a master’s in engineering management from the Florida Institute of Technology and a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering from Texas A&M.
Jane leads Space division programs at Astrion. With more than 30 years of experience at Kennedy Space Center, Jane has been instrumental in ensuring NASA customer mission success, most recently leading our team on the Test and Operations Support contract and Consolidated Operations, Management, Engineering, and Test contract. Before Astrion, Jane was employed with United Space Alliance and held numerous positions, including Director in Logistics Planning and Supportability, responsible for the space shuttle program’s supportability.
Jane holds a master’s in management technology from the University of Miami and a bachelor’s in statistics from Virginia Tech.
Jeff brings extensive experience executing new market growth strategies and leading winning business development teams. He joined us from LMI, serving as Vice President of the Civilian market and directing the business unit’s strategy, growth, and operations. Earlier, he served as Senior Director of Corporate Growth at GDIT, leading a 20-person cross-functional business development and acquisition organization responsible for growing the CSRA business and managing a portfolio of strategic contract vehicles with an annual revenue run rate of more than $1.3 billion.
Jeff holds an MBA from Georgetown University and a bachelor’s degree in computer science and economics from Washington & Lee University.
Maggie brings to Astrion a notable career with 38 years of federal service, and having served in both the U.S. Air Force and the Army Reserves. Before Astrion, Maggie was a U.S. Federal DoD Senior Executive (GM-15), holding the positions of Senior Manager and Contracting Officer and a Professional Level III certification in the functional specialty of Acquisition/Program Management. She was responsible for acquisition programs valued at $2 billion.
Following 9/11, Maggie was called upon to be in the “Commanders War Room” 24/7 as the sole Contracting Officer, providing responses and acquisition support to the Wing Commander and Hanscom AFB in an unknown environment of terrorism. She “stood up” and deployed the first-ever 66th Contracting Squadron from Hanscom AFB to respond to this attack on our nation. After her federal service, Maggie was one of the first to manage a first-of-its-kind Department of Defense Housing Privatization program for Hanscom AFB valued at $220 million. In addition, Maggie is involved with ISO, CMMI, CMMC, NIST, CUI policies and procedures, and DCAA audits.
Heather brings more than 25 years of human resource leadership experience to Astrion. Previously, she was at SAIC as Senior Vice President for their Defense and Civilian Sector, supporting over 14,000 employees. Before SAIC, Heather held positions of increasing responsibility at Northrop Grumman, including serving as Sector Vice President of Human Resources for both the Defense Systems and Technology Services sectors. WashingtonExec recognized Heather as a “Top HR Exec to Watch” in 2022 and 2023. Her experience designing talent-focused strategies to accelerate growth aligns with our goal of being a mission-focused, innovative, and responsive partner for our customers.
Heather is a U.S. Navy veteran and a National Board Member for the Armed Services YMCA. She holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Capella University.
