Conn Doherty

As Astrion Chief Growth Officer, Conn Doherty is responsible for all growth functions, including strategy, business development, capture and proposals, government relations, marketing and communications, M&A and partnerships, and strategic advisors. He brings more than twenty years of leadership experience in strategic aerospace and defense business growth and execution. His customer and industry partnership approach to solving mission critical challenges delivers reliable operational capability at scale and speed. His experience spans sensors, effectors, communications, command and control and infrastructure across all domains from subsurface to space and capability lifecycle phases from threat analysis, modeling and simulation, and systems engineering to rapid development, test and evaluation, and training.

Prior to joining Astrion, Conn was the Chief Growth Officer at CHAOS Industries, building advanced distributed systems for C-UAS, IAMD, and Golden Dome. Prior to CHAOS, Conn held senior roles at Raytheon and Collins Aerospace across program leadership, strategy, and business development. Notably, he led the research and development business that secured multiple multi-billion-dollar programs of record and served as the Vice President/General Manager of the Strategic Solutions portfolio.

Conn holds a Bachelor and Master of Science degree in computer science from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, where he is a member of the computer science and aerospace engineering advisory boards. In addition, Conn holds a Master of Business Administration from University of California – Los Angeles. Conn is based in El Segundo, California.
