Monique Sturdyvin serves as chief people officer, driving a people strategy that is tightly aligned to Astrion’s mission, ensuring teams are positioned, developed, and supported to deliver excellence across Defense & Homeland and Space Operations & Allied Missions. She partners across the enterprise to strengthen leadership, culture, and talent alignment so the company continues to grow as one unified, high-performing organization. 

An accomplished human resources executive with a proven track record of driving organizational performance through strategic people leadership, Monique joined Astrion in December 2024 and has played a pivotal role in aligning human capital strategies with business priorities, partnering with business leaders to advance leadership development priorities.  

Prior to Astrion, Monique held key HR leadership roles at SAIC and Northrop Grumman, where she served as a strategic advisor to executive leadership, led enterprise-wide talent initiatives, and drove measurable improvements in engagement and retention. She is known for cultivating high-performance cultures, building trusted partnerships with senior leaders, and implementing impactful talent strategies. Her expertise spans succession planning, leadership development, performance management, and workforce transformation initiatives that improve both employee experience and business outcomes. 

Monique holds a Bachelor of Science in criminology from California State University, Fresno.
