Eric Brown

President, Space Operations and Allied Missions

As the President of Astrion Space Operations & Allied Missions, Eric Brown is responsible for delivering critical missions to national security, civil, and commercial space customers as the company expands its position as an end-to-end mission solution integrator for the U.S. and its allies. He brings more than 20 years of leadership experience supporting critical missions across the space and national security communities and has a long track record of successfully growing businesses.

Prior to joining Astrion, Eric was the Vice President of Mission Strategy and Advanced Capabilities at Lockheed Martin Space where he led the company’s advanced technology programs and new business efforts across various missions including missile warning and defense; communications; position, navigation, and timing; space exploration; space superiority/orbital warfare; space domain awareness; deep space science; and weather. His experience spans the development of space architectures, satellites, command and control systems, and mission data processing solutions. Previously, Eric’s experience included contracted services, in leadership while at Booz Allen Hamilton, URS Corporation, and PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Eric holds a bachelor’s degree from Davidson College, a master’s degree in U.S. security policy from Georgetown University, and an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business.  He is certified in Six Sigma from Motorola University. Eric has received multiple awards from the intelligence community for his contributions to national security.
